Jadstone offers a range of general guidance and learning support services. Each case is tailored to individual requirements and an improvement plan is drawn up to track initial concerns and to record progress made during the sessions.
Working for Barnardos and Birmingham Carers, Jemma Stone gained experience in communicating and liasoning with people to improve their lives and situations. The work included negotiating with Social Services and other outside agencies to provide the support for individuals and families requiring a helping hand, direction and signposting to help them deal with difficult times. A lot of the worked involved working alongside families with children who have learning and physical disabilities, providing them with respite and a better quality of life. Jemma will use this experience to help you overcome a difficulty in life where you are finding it hard to see the woods for the trees or she can help you get through a situation that is grinding you down. Relevant life experience and additional training supports this work in addition to over ten years teaching experience, one-to-one, small group and whole class teaching including adults.
Jadstone Re-direction offers classes in creative writing, writing skills, music, life direction, and coaching in being assertive and confident. The service is for individuals, groups, organisations and training providers.
